National Service Scheme (NSS) Day was celebrated on Wednesday at the Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Regional Campus, Ladhewali. On this occasion, a guest lecture on e-waste management was organized. Bipan Suman, the project manager of the NGO 'Pahal', was the main speaker. Associate Dean Prof. Butta Singh spoke about the increasing threat of e-waste in society, while NSS Program Officer Dr. Charan Kamal Walia discussed the role of NSS in student life. Dr. Namrata Joshi, Dr. Varinder Singh, Dr. Deepkamal Randhawa, Dr. Savita, and Himanshu were also present.

Mr. Mick Walvisch, an international entrepreneur and mentor, shared insights on startup challenges, funding, and networking, stressing passion, resilience, and problem-solving. On 24 March 2022: Dept of Engineering and Technology, GNDU, R.C., Jalandhar under the NSS Programme commemorated the Matryrdom day of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh ji. Jalandhar, 29 march: -A one day National Seminar on Changing Dimensions Of Law: An Expanding Horizon was organized by the Law Department of Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus Ladhewali Jalandhar. The aim was to revive intellectual and policy debates on the relationship between law and social change, to eliminate social democracy and inequality.

August 25 2021, Four students from the engineering and technology department, have been selected by two companies before completion of the course. Two students Sachin Mehta and Utkarsh Dhiman will get 5 lakh per annum, the other two students Seerat Kaur and Pranshu Sharma will get 5.3 lakh per annum. The companies have also promised to give a stipend to students during their training period.
